I am currently listening to this lp.I like it but it is very weird/Trippy.
Does anybody have this?What are your thoughts?
This is the only lp I have of his.Is this one of his better ones?Any suggestions on any other of his lp's that are worth listening to?How's the first Soft Machine lp?

Kevin was, IMO, the least talented of all the original Soft Machine members. The 1st Soft Machine album was great, got me started listening/writing/playing avant garde music, but the Soft Machine Vol two is a masterpiece. Vol. three "Third" was when they fully ventured into jazz/fusion/avant garde, and IMO, another masterpiece.
ReplyDeleteAlso: the Soft's 1st was a 2-piece movable die-cut album cover, and of all the albums I own, that's one of the few I have framed in my home office.
