Quatermass-S/T release

It's been awhile since I played this so I thought I would spin it.It's a grower but it's very good.I like Entrophy/Black Sheep Of The Family and Gemini a lot.
The cover art by Hipgnosis is outstanding.I have a picture of it in my blog.
Highly recommended.

John & Beverley Martyn-The Road to Ruin

John Martyn makes regular spins upon my turntable but this album usually gets overlooked.
Which is a shame because it is one of his better albums.Around the same time this lp was released, his musical friend Nick Drake had already completed Bryter Layter.Give Us a Ring was written for Nick.
Like Bryter Layter,Road to Ruin has a Jazzy feel. Some of the same backing musicians are on both albums. It's a good album for a Sunday fall afternoon.
Highly recommended.

Judy Dyble's Talking with Strangers lp

I just received this the other day.I highly recommend it!It sounds outstanding and the vinyl is a thick 180 grams!
Musically,it's the best album I have heard in a long time.In my opinion,it is her best work.Which is saying alot since I love her work in Trader Horne.
Get a copy now! These are limited to 500 copies and that includes a hand signed pic of Judy in a vintage picture.Get them while you can.....

Kevin Ayers-Joy of a Toy

I am currently listening to this lp.I like it but it is very weird/Trippy.
Does anybody have this? What are your thoughts?
This is the only lp I have of his.Is this one of his better ones?Any suggestions on any other of his lp's that are worth listening to?How's the first Soft Machine lp?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions......

What's Spinning...

I recently was given a lp to burn to cd.It is Graham Nash's Songs for Beginners.I have heard some songs off of this lp before but I never heard the album in it's entirety.
I must say, this album is great.I especially like the first side.I highly recommend this.
If anybody has this lp,let me know what ya think.
